PRESBIOPIA
Presbyopia
is due to the loss of crystalline elasticity inside the eye. this is
a physiological development
between 10 and 55 years and shows
up between 40 and 45 years of age. Presbyopia may be combined
with astigmatism, myopia and hypermetropia.
.
Near objects can no longer be focused on the retina by the
crystalline lens. The image is made behind the retina. This results
in eye fatigue and a loss of near vision.
Lack of convergence of the luminous rays due to presbyopia is
compensated by a lens.
