January 2005 saw the BBGR launch of Neva, an anti-reflective lens incorporating a smudge-proof agent. This is claimed to be one of the best top coats available on the market today. Its exclusive formula enables lenses to remain smudge free longer makes them easy for to clean.

Neva is a comprehensive high-end treatment. It integrates the high efficiency anti-reflective and scratch-resistant performances that have made the Diam's coating so successful.

It is available on Evolis 1.67 progressive lenses and on 1.67 single vision Ashore prescription lenses.
BBGR have developed a unique process ensuring optimal density of fluorosilane molecules on the lens surface. this gives Neva its unique qualities.

The top coat's performance is a result of the fluorine chain's length. The longer the chains, the better the top coat will be. Those used on Neva are stated to be ten times longer than those on a standard anti-reflective lens.

Being much more flexible, they cling more easily to the surface of the lens to offer maximum protection against impurities.
