Thanks to an asymmetrical conception and the aspheric front surface, the
lens generates retinal overlapping images. You have the guarantee of a slack
binocular vision whatever the gaze direction, a perception of constant picture

attention (job, reading, computer)

An adapted solution
Active Nulux is declined in two levels of correction: the first with 0.53 D is
adapted to for patient of 20 years of age, while the second, with 0.88 D
targets the young longsighted persons. Even the contact lens wearer will benefit

"ANTI-EYESTRAIN" LENSES FROM
ESSILOR
Essilor recently launched on the French market a new lens "Essilor
Anti-Fatigue", This uni-focal is given for objective to answer, to the
60 % of people waiting, from 20 to 45
years which complain about visual strain (asthénopia.) a visual strain which
appears to 54 % by a feeling of "eyestrain ", to 52 % by "headaches", and 47 %
by problems of adaptation to the light.
This eyestrain appears during
close work (70 %), work on screen (71%),
but it is felt to 84 % as a "global fatigues". On the technical level, the
design of "Essilor Anti fatigue" is based on the regulation of the micro
fluctuations of accommodation.

When the eye fixes a motionless target,
accommodation is not constant: it varies around an average position. These
variations are called micro fluctuations of accommodation, a universal
phenomenon at less than 45 years of age ". (fig. I)

In
prolonged near vision , these
"micro fluctuations" are disturbed. The accommodative system, have more and more
difficulties to support this effort. The lens wearer suffers from visual strain.

The design of "anti-fatigue lenses" rebalances
the accommodative system and recreates these "micro fluctuations" of
accommodation. the lens relieves visual strain. (Fig.3)
The lens was then designed, in order to reduce
accommodation of 0,6D for the near vision. Thanks to this specific
optimization, this glass then makes it possible to reduce "visual strain" by
relieving the accommodative effort necessary for a work supported in
near vision .
This patented glass is proposed in Stylis
material with anti-reflection coating
(Crystal or Trio) from +1.0 to + 6 cyl 4. Diameters: 60, 65, 70, 75.
