  TYPE OF COMPLEXION AND COLORS

The european ethnic can be classified in for major types, on the complexion, hair's color, eye's color. For convenience, this has been expressed with the for seasons. SPRING, SUMMER, AUTUMN AND WINTER.

SPRING TYPE

Here we have a fair complexion, the eyes are fair , hair color as well. The color used must be pastel and cool. The spectacles must be nearly invisible, with very fine rims or without any . The salmon , golden beige, copper brown, are generally the best colors.

SUMMER TYPE

The summer type have the cool palette, Blond hair, the skin is fair and smoothly pink, and can have a light haze. The summer color are more pastel and cool, the blue, the green, the pink.

AUTUMN TYPE

The autumnal skin can be fair, but get tan by the sun with peaches pink nuances, the eyes are fair or dark, in green or brown color. The hair are chestnut-brown. The metal frame should be gold. The plastic frame must be of warm color, havana, gold yellow, rust-colored, or green.

WINTER TYPE

The winter type have a fair or a tan skin, of mediterranean type. The skin is well tan by the sun, the hair are dark or black. The color must be warm and very strong, the red, the green, the king-blue, lemon yellow, the white and the black color.

In conclusion for the fair skin the cool and pastel color, for the dark skin warm and strong color. This is, of course a matter of taste, the general rules can be corrected by the fashion, the age, temperament etc...
