HD 3D PREMIUM OPTICS
The curved M3D lenses provide excellent HD 3D optics, enhanced
picture and colour clarity, ultra high 3D contrast without ghosting, distortion
or haze and provide extended peripheral vision — a distinct advantage over flat
3D lenses distributed at movie theaters.
M3D PATENTED TECHNOLOGY
Our revolutionary, M3D lenses are specially configure and curved
using our patented lens technology to ensure state of the art 3D performance. A
Marchon3D eyewear is created with M3D lens technology which allows
it to exceed flat lens capabilities in all areas of form and function.
PHOTOCHROMIC
Our premium photochromic M3D lenses double as sunglasses. State of
the art photochromic dye is cast directly into the lens material allowing our
lenses to react extremely fast to light conditions -darkening to a sunglass in
30 seconds or less and then returning to its original tint in just minutes when
going indoors. 100% UV protection.
QUALITY
M3D lenses are produced with a special hard-coating, making them
resistant to scratches, extreme temperatures and harsh chemical environments.
Our lenses meet FDA and ANSI impact resistance requirements.
REALD CERTIFIED
RealD is the most trusted name in passive 3D technology and is the world's most
commonly used 3D technology in movie theatres today. Marchon3D is RealD
certified to ensure premium 3D viewing with RealD passive technology Systems.

Is 3D available now?
Yes, games, televisions, laptops, monitors and movies are already available;
however the right optical technology is required to view content in 3D.
How is the new 3D technology different from older 3D technology?
Today's 3D technology is full color and high resolution, offering all the
detail and vivid colors that far exceed the "old" anaglyph (blue and red
colored lenses) method of projecting 3D.
Does everyone watching a 3D movie need to wear the glasses?
Yes, in order to view 3D movies in passive RealD theaters, passive 3D glasses
that are compatible with RealD must be worn.
How does Marchon3D improve my viewing experience?
Marchon3D eyewear provides a superior viewing experience. The lens materials
are specially configured and curved using a U.S. patented lens process
providing excellent optics, minimal distracting lens reflections, vivid colors,
and the ability to match your personal style and comfort with premium frames.
Are all 3D technologies the same?
No, there are different 3D technologies available today - active and passive.
Active 3D refers to the active eyewear that synchronizes with the projection
using a shutter to separate images for the 3D effect. Passive technology
creates a filter using color or polarization of light to separate images
creating the 3D effect. There are different passive technologies that process
the projection including anaglyph (the blue and red lenses found in comic
books), linear polarization used in IMAX® theatres, and most commonly-used
circular polarization used in RealD theatres.
What are the differences between active and passive 3D eyewear?
Passive 3D eyewear utilizes polarized lenses to decode 3D content by separating
images for the right eye and left eye using polarized filters. Active eyewear
uses an LCD screen incorporated into the lenses that synchronizes with an
emitter that blocks alternating images for the right eye and left eye.
What is Circular Polarization?
To present 3D, two superimposed images are projected onto the same screen
through different polarizing filters. Marchon3D eyewear contains circularly
polarized lenses that are oriented to match each of those polarized images,
allowing the passage of only certain angles of light through the lens for each
eye individually. Circular polarized lenses contain an additional component in
the lens that spins the light as it passes through the lens. This allows
viewers to tilt their head and look about the theatre naturally without a
disturbing loss of 3D perception.
Where can I watch 3D movies?
3D Movies can be viewed at over 25,000 cinemas worldwide, 7,000 in U.S., and
will soon be available in the home on passive enabled laptops, monitors and
televisions. RealD is the world's most widely used technology for 3D movies in
theatres today, and Marchon3D eyewear is RealD licensed and compatible.
Can I wear my glasses outside the movie theatre?
Yes, Marchon3D lenses meet ANSI Z80.3 special-purpose UV requirements, blocking
100% UVA and 100% UVB, which allow the user to wear this product outdoors as
sunglasses.
Can everyone see 3DTV?
According to the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (www.covd.org),
nearly one million people in the US suffer from stereo blindness which prevents
them from perceiving the intended depth of 3D entertainment. Also, some people
who watch 3D programming may experience initial feelings of motion sickness as
they adjust to the picture. Others may experience headaches, eyestrain or
continued motion sickness. If you experience any of these symptoms while
viewing 3D we encourage you to visit your eyecare professional for a
comprehensive eyecare exam. Having difficulty or discomfort when viewing 3D
maybe a symptom of an underlying eye condition.
