In 1951, Martine Sitbon was born of French and
Italian lineage in Casablanca. She graduated at the Studio Bercot in
1974 and then traveled through Asia and Mexico where she was
inspired by the exotic textiles. Her own designs premiered in 1985
and then she started designing for Chloe’s ready-to-wear in 1988.
