in our family, and our activity is targeted on three areas, optometry,
contact lenses and optical instruments.
The Holemans Jewelry is the only one in
Belgium to have kept a true workshop of High Jewelry within its House. A
workshop of High Jewelry shelters craftsmen of which each one excels in a
specialty: the manufacturer works the matter, gives form to the jewel or with
the object (a jeweler is also a goldsmith), the setter crimps the precious
stone jewel, the engraver gives a form by pushing back the matter, the
lacquerer, following an ancestral technique, enamels with natural lacquers
certain jewels and objects, the gemologist remains with the mounting of the
most beautiful stones, the restorer gives to a new life to the jewels, without
forgetting, the originator, the draftsman without whom no jewel would be
born...
The love as with the jewel, one asks to
dazzle, thus it must be single! Only an authentic jeweler can answer this

Lacquers
Means
of recognition of the Holemans Jewelers.Henri Holemans, Founder of the Holemans
Workshops in 1922, was initiated with the Art of the Lacquers by a Main
Japanese Lacquerer in the Twenties.Since, the secrecy of the work of the
lacquers on noble metals is transmitted in the greatest confidentiality of
father as son. This ancestral technique makes each jewel and/or object Holemans,
a work of Article. The application of the lacquers reflects still and always a
single and new character in the Universe of the Jewelry.
The natural lacquer is a latex extracted "Rhus
Vemicifera', the extraction is done always manually. Each lacquerer jealously
protects his own application technique.
Master punch
The Squirrel, “Poinçon” of Master chosen
by the Jeweller Thierry Holemans authenticates and signs each jewels and
invaluable objects carried out by the Workshops of Holemans Jewellery. The
punch of Master is an official title allotted by the Royal Hotel of the
Currencies as recognition of name Maitre Jeweller.
The Barrel surrounding the Squirrel
represents the country of origin of the Workshop of Jewellery, namely Belgium.
The Squirrel, initially recorded as “Poinçon” of Master is adopted by the
Holemans Jeweller in the capacity of logo and signature of its creations.
