The 15x50IS AW is unique among high-magnification binoculars because they incorporate Canon's remarkable Optical Image Stabilizer technology. Proven highly effective in Canon video camcorders and professional lenses, this revolutionary system employs a novel Vari- Angle Prism that instantly and continuously makes adjustments to maintain a steady image. With Canon's Optical Image Stabilizer, you can enjoy the resolving power of these binoculars without a tripod. You can even use them from within moving vehicles. The IS series feature eyepiece lenses with a unique Doublet Field Flattener, which dramatically reduces curvature of field. 15x binoculars with Canon's Image Stabilization

The superb 15x45IS model provides a level of observation power that has to be seen to be believed. Its outstanding magnification of 15x makes it the perfect tool for observing the most distant of subjects. Crystal clear viewing of wildlife becomes the norm, while for example coastal observations are enhanced beyond measure. In fact thanks to the 45mm diameter objective lens, this triumph of technology even makes stargazing possible. But with a minimum focussing distance of just 6 meters, stunning close-ups also come into the frame: not even the most delicate details on the tiniest of birds are lost.

12x36IS

8x25IS
Just 12 cm wide and weighing only 490g. the new 8x25 IS binoculars are the most compact and lightweight IS binoculars Canon ever developed. They incorporate the new Tilt Mechanism IS, enabling you to follow your chosen subject with tremendous clarity.

The new IS binoculars have an appealing rounded shaped design for more comfortable handling. They owe their small size, low weight and superb image-stabilising ability to the latest in Image Stabilisation technology: the Tilt Mechanism. This mechanism keeps your subject steady by correcting movements, such as hand shake. Battery power is minimised because the IS optics only uses power when the IS button is pressed. Like the focusing knob, this button is centrally located on the binoculars, easily reachable by both left and right handed users. As a further refinement, the tilt-system Image Stabiliser of the 8x25 IS suppresses chromatic aberrations and reduces colour 'smearing' in order to keep your image clear. Being environmentally conscious Canon have used lead-free glass in the new IS binoculars.
