BaK4 Glas Prisme

Our high-refraction BaK4 glass
prism produces a perfectly round exit pupil and, compared with
other prisms, ensures greater light-gathering power for clear,
unvignetted images.
Multi layer Coating
Important optical elements are
treated with the time-proven multi-layer coating, which
improves light transmission efficiency to deliver bright,
high-contrast images without flare and eventually reduces eye
fatigue.
Rubber Housing
Most Pentax binoculars are
encased in highly protective rubber housings to protect
optical mechanisms from shock and damage while enhancing
holding comfort for extended viewing.
Functional design
Binocular bodies and optical
systems are computer-designed to ensure the easiest handling
and reduce the size and weight to a minimum.
Porro Prism

In porro-prism binoculars the
objective and the ocular have been positioned to enhance the
angle of view.
Roof Prism

Here, the objective and the
ocular are positioned directly opposite. This way even
large-magnification binoculars fit into a very slim,
lightweight body.
A long eye relief

A long eye relief, offered in
most Pentax binoculars, allows you to see the entire field of
view, even when wearing eyeglasses
Aspherical lens

Pentax`s original aspherical
lens, employed in some of our binoculars, improves the image`s
brightness and sharpness while minimizing image distortions.
Pentax UCF
The Pentax UCF Series porro-prism binoculars come in four
types: an all-purpose UCF G, a weather-resistant UCF WR, a versatile UCF Zoom, and a pocket-sized UCF
mini
This series features an innovative dual-axis eye-distance
adjustment system, outstanding optical performance and a
compact, ergonomic body design. The dual-axis system prevents
the misalignment of lens barrels, which is the most common
cause of eye fatigue. The original optical system incorporates
BaK4 glass prisms and aspherical lenses to produce sharp,
high-contrast images with minimized distortions. The unique
body design with a rubber housing improves holding comfort and
facilitates one-handed use. The Pentax UCF Series is the
perfect choice for lovers of the active lifestyle.

DIGIBINO DB100
More than a pair of binoculars. More than a digital camera. The
Pentax DigiBino DB100 is the world’s first digital camera binocular.
Ideal for birdwatchers, outdoorsmen, sports fans or anyone looking
to capture images electronically that are normally seen with a pair
of binoculars

The Features
The DigiBino allows viewing distant images clearly with 7X
magnification (equivalent to a 280mm lens in 35mm format), and
with a 1/3 inch progressive CCD and 800,000 pixels, gives you the
revolutionary ability to capture what you see with high-level
digital precision. Images can later be enlarged while still
retaining impressive clarity.
It achieves fast focus, even when using super telephoto
settings, and achieves a level of precision equal to conventional
binoculars, and also incorporates a handy 1.6 inch LCD panel for
clear view of your subject and assists when composing shots for
recording.
The DigiBino provides more options after images have been
captured, with the convenience of video output and versatile USB
compatibility.
With 16MB of built-in Flash memory, the DigiBino is capable of
recording and storing up to 100 pictures in Fine mode. Also, all
images can easily be stored as JPEG files.
The DigiBino offers shutter speeds as low as 1/30 sec. for
low-light subjects or distant scenery to 1/8000 sec. for wildlife
or other moving subjects.
The DigiBino’s AV output adds more options for display by
connecting to a TV.
Manual focus allows greater control and makes it easy to place
greater emphasis on any subject within the field of view. For
added convenience, focal adjustment on the binoculars is linked
with that of the camera.
The DigiBino can be powered by two AA size lithium, or AA size
nickel-hydride batteries and is also compatible with lithium CR-V3
batteries for further convenience – ideal for use when traveling.
To achieve combinations of aperture and shutter that fit the
subject, the DigiBino offers auto exposure which gives the user
the freedom to concentrate on viewing and composition.
The DigiBino offers White Balance so the natural range of
colors can be preserved when shooting in various different kinds
of light.
To capture instances of action, frame by frame, the DigiBino
offers continuous shooting of up ten frames at five frames per
second.
The DigiBino is excellent for viewing and recording distant
scenes and action. Its capabilities are appreciated up close as
well with the viewing and capture of subjects just two meters
away.
Conveniently compact, the DigiBino measures 5.0” x 2.7” x
1.7”.
